Psalm 127:1 "Unless the Lord builds a house, They who build it labor in vain; Unless the Lord guards a city, The watchman stays awake in vain."
Today's scripture can be applied to a great many things, but right now we are going to focus on our journey towards being a successfully planted church.
Too many times in life, we get ahead of God and decide to start building things on our own. We labor and labor to build the things that we want, and then we ask God to bless our work without ever stopping to consider if this is the work that He has for us. As King Solomon reminds us, unless we are working with God to build the house, all of our labors are in vain, because it is our work and not His.
Today, is there anything going on in your life that you're focused on and driving toward without having stopped to ask God if that's what he would have for you? If so, it's not too late to go and ask for His direction.

Lord, may today be a day where I focus on You and Your plan. Please take my plans and align them with Yours for Your plan is perfect. May my soul rest in the knowledge of Your perfection. Amen.
